I was reiterating the fact that I always do an Exit/Save First after a change to have it reflected throughout Tasker.
Pent (Mr. Tasker) pointed out that recent versions of Tasker have a check mark at the top of the screen called Apply. When a change is made that needs to be coordinated the check mark appears. When clicked a Flash appears displaying Applied.
This can be used in place of the Exit/Save First method.
I pointed out that one of the most common misconceptions is that when a Profile is changed to On or Off everyone assumes it is set. It isn't. The Apply checkmark appears and if you select it then the Profile is turned either off or on. throughout Tasker.
