Apps Automatically Install on my device without permission.

Hi guys,

I'm currently using a rooted Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean tablet which I bought a few mounths ago and I had no problems with it, until a few weeks ago when some apps that I never used before started automatically to install on my device without my permission. I tried uninstalling them, but they just keep coming back.
The apps are: Baidu Browser, Dr. Safety and DU Battery Saver.
If you guys know what causes this and/or how to fix it, please reply. Thanks in advance. :)

This is all Chinese stuff. Did you install some free(adware) app or game recently, and this is extra unwanted that's been pushed out to your device probably. What tablet have you got, make and model, and is it Chinese?

The tablet is a Serioux SMO72, and yes its Chinese. Got it for like 50$.
I usually download all my stuff from the Google Play Store, but sometimes when there are paid games I wanna play, I first download them for free using other markets like Slimy Piracy Site. And now that I think about it, thats probably how this thing got in my device.

Slimy Piracy Site....Yeh I live in China, I know what goes on here. However AF doesn't doesn't condone software piracy, and discussion of this is prohibited, forum rules and US law, Android Forums is a US site.

Any reason why you can't buy apps from Google Play or Amazon App store? I suggest if you can't find what you downloaded is causing it, do a factory reset but backup all your data first.

Good call mike, factory reset and make sure you are getting apps from legitimate sites. If you want to try before you buy, email the developer. Most that care would be more than willing to help you out or extend the time for a refund. Otherwise, there is no other reason to attempt to get paid content for free.

Emailing sometimes get you a free time to use and discount when brought

I have the same issue - but all my apps have been installed via the play store. perhaps a 'free' app?
its a chinese phone (xiaomi mi4) sent from hong kong, and i wondered if this might have something to do with it? i get prompts and keep declining, but its annoying!

Nothing has appeared on my Oppo Find 7. In fact, Google told me three apps weren't compatible when they were. I repurchased said apps from Amazon.

I've had the phone for over a year and it hasn't installed anything. I found that Color OS allowed a lot of apps to be disabled. . To be fair, I don't game or do social sites and entertainment on the phone. It's a very handy reference library. I have all my birding guides with me at all times. I also use Viber so I can text or talk to the kid in the UK)

All you have to do is to change your settings on security to not allow unknow sources
Plus make sure to install a anti virus app before to download any apps to your new device,
If after you do all this, you still having trouble with it, probably you have installed or downloaded already a bug or virus on your new device
