Apps don't show up on app list- Droid 2

I have a Droid 2 that I just got today, and I successfully installed multiple apps, but when I go to my home screen and click on the arrow, the apps that I installed don't show up in the list. please help!!!!!
 
Also, did you get the little icons in the notification bar to indicate that they were installed successfuly?
