Help Apps from screen lock

I like my new Droid Maxx a lot. When going from screen lock back to using it, is there a way to various apps (phone, camera, etc) to start based on which direction you drag it? Bionic had this but you could not change the apps.

Good question. The Maxx lock screen is different from previous Motorola Droids. However, at the lock screen, if you place your finger close to the right edge and drag to the left, it will start the camera. (When you place your finger there, a small blue rectangle will show up where you place your finger - that's the zone where you need to place your finger.)

If you do the same at the left edge and drag right, it will expose a screen where you can place a lock screen widget. Press the plus and you can choose from a list of the apps that can place widgets on the lock screen. If you add one, you can keep dragging left to add more.
