Apps incompatible with 5.0/5.0.1

Just a thread to inform users of apps that are currently NOT working with the latest Android updates.

My experiences so far:

GTA Vice City
Capital One Mobile

I don't know about it being incompatible, but Quickoffice has vanished from my Nexus 7 2013. Very unhappy as I use it a LOT.

Quickoffice was discontinued, Google nixed it in favour of Google Docs. So if it's incompatible, they won't be fixing it.

Used to use it myself, then Google bought it, made it so it had to be online, and that's when I stopped using it in favour of Kingsoft, now WPS.

I use office 365 on my Nexus 7(I had to get the apk from my phone) but it works great for office needs. I am a subscriber for 9.99 monthly, so I get 10TB of cloud storage on Onedrive and Office 2013 professional on up to 5 computers. It's well worth the monthly fee, just for the cloud storage.

You can flash the 4.4.4 image, but you will lose all data & settings that you currently have.

I know this happens with every platform, but I really am disappointed in the performance of Dead Trigger 2 now that it has been updated for 5.0. It's laggy, but I suppose this is because of the hardware being "last year". I am not going to buy a Nexus 9 to play Dead Trigger with smooth frame rates. It looks like I will look into PS Vita or a 3DS for handheld gaming, and I will continue to use my Nexus 7 2013 for email and less graphic intense purposes.

WPS office is an awesome app! I use it on my galaxy tab and ipad (all free). I have been testing the Windows PC version and will probably buy it. I think it is only about $70 for a full pro version. Better than paying yearly rent to Microsoft.

A lot of company, academic and govt. users in China seem to have gone over to WPS Office now. There was a decree last year, to stop using Microsoft products on govt. and company PCs. WPS is Chinese, Kingsoft of Zhuhai. WPS is also available for Linux, so don't even need Windows.

Maybe. But 10TB of cloud storage and install on up to 5 computers + 5 mobile devices make 365 worth it for me.

I have not checked WPS site in the last month. I went on the site now. Sorry to see that they have changed over to the Microsoft business model of charging monthly/yearly licensing fess to use their software. I should have bought their pro version when i had the chance ($70 for 3 computers). Now it will cost $50/yr for 1 pro ($30/yr for home version). Too bad. The android and iOS version is still free and is excellent compared to Polar or SmartOffice.

Sorry to hijack 5.0 discussion. I have noticed a flurry of updates on my various apps as developers are updating their respective apps to make them 5.0 compatible.
