Apps not loading with Wi-Fi

For the past week, most of my apps are not working with wi-fi but work with data. The browser works just fine and I've restarted my phone multiple times and my modem/router as well.
Are there any fixes for this? I searched this before but found nothing useful.
I have the LG Escape 3 if that's needed to know to help.

So are you having this problem with just one particular WiFi network or with any WiFi network?
You might want to try rebooting your phone into its Safe Mode and see if those same apps are still having a WiFi connectivity problem. If things work out better while in Safe Mode that indicates there's some app you've installed that's creating the problem.

Then it comes down to determining just which one, but at least that's a start. A likely culprit would be an anti-virus/anti-malware app if you installed one but that's just supposition.
Another thing to look into is to try disabling IPv6 on your router. If that doesn't make any difference, if your router includes the feature, is to set up a guest network using the most basic defaults and see if while connecting through that guest network if things work out properly. If so, you might want to just do a reset on your router, going back to its defaults, and set up an entirely new primary WiFi network.
