Apps not showing up in Marketplace

Lurker
I just got a new Nexus ONe for AT&T and some apps that I believe should be in the Marketplace, specifically Quickoffice, MLB At Bat and ChompSMS, do not appear when I search for them. Does anyone know why this is happening? Thanks.

I just upgraded to root 2.1 on my eris and I also couldnt find chompsms.
On AT&T as well? It seems that AT&T are restricting what apps are accessible from their network, although I have no idea why they'd want to block chompSMS or any of the others

I know AT&T has some restrictions on the Backflip, but since this is an unlocked phone not sold by them, I'm not sure why or how they could restrict anything, it would have to be something Google does on their end, which would be pretty crappy on Google's part, one of the reasons I replaced my iPhone with the N1 was because I was sick of Apple's censorship in the app store.

Perhaps someone with an AT&T N1 can find someone with a T-Mobile SIM and data plan, pop it in and see if those apps are there?

Lots of good info at this place. It basically explained what you can do (which isn't much). I guess the price to pay for being out on the bleeding edge.

I paid for CRMDroid and can't get it to work on my leaked 2.1 Rom. So I'm out 3 bucks. Also, Todo Q won't show up either and its a certification issue. May have to wait for the "official" 2.1 to roll out.

these are all marked as 'private' apps and thus will not show up in the pre-release.

I went back to 2.0.1 because of the issue and am patiently waiting for the official update.
