Why do apps always seem to ask for so many permisions when downloading, i wanted to download a news reader but it wanted access to calls too. Is this normal?
Does it want access to make calls, or just to check the phone state? Many apps check phone state so they can tell when the phone is in use, or a call is coming in, so they can stop their activity during the call (or start an activity, if necessary).
