Help Apps running in the background

When I run any app on my phone it works perfectly but when I leave the app in the recent apps menu it looks normal but when I click onto the app it runs like I opened it from my home screen. How can I fix this?

I did notice it too, but I think that some apps have been made like that, they have been programmed to refresh after spending a certain amount of time in the background.

As far as I see Facebook, Tapatalk and some other apps do that.
