Apps secretly draining my battery

How can I identify apps secretly draining my battery and shut them down. I use the soft key at bottom left to close all apps, but my battery continues to drain even when I am charging it. Help, please.
 
Try this:
Settings, Device Maintenance, Batterry, Save Power.
It puts to sleep apps you've used but that may be still running in the background.
 
Have a look at an app called GSAM Battery Monitor, it should give you a better idea of what's draining power than the system menu.

Are you using the Samsung charger? 3rd Party chargers generally don't play well with Samsung devices. Is Fast charge enabled and are you using the phone whilst charging?

Does it do the same when the device is turned off?
