Apps that enhance desktop

After checking out all the desktops on here mine is so plain jane.. just wondering what apps your all using to get those effects. .. i tried bettercut for example and that just did what my phone does...creates shortcuts....but ive seen some desktops where you have traffic lights and each light colour is something interactive ( missed call...messages etc )

I use launcher pro plus. So i know you cant download themes but some of the ones on here use the same and the icons match the wallpaper which match the dock.

as far as the dock matching the wallpaper.. look over on the launcher pro forums there is an entire thread dedicated to custom docks. same as the icons.

Take a look at LiveHome - free on the market. It has some interesting "effects" built into it, and there are several themes you can download for free, again from the market.

Widgetlocker for sure! You can customize your lockscreen as well a have a weather animation that looks rad.
