Root Apps to SD

Hey guys I need a way to move apps onto my SD card.... I can't seem to find a good app to do it quite right. What are you guys using?
By the way I'm using Party time JBS v2.4 ROM if that makes a difference.

Thanks

Micro sd card readers are very cheap.
Amazon.com: SanDisk SDDR-121-A11M MobileMate Micro Memory Card Reader (Red/Black): Electronics

Then follow this guide.

Use Ext2 for your partition type and make either a 1Gb (1024) or 2Gb (2048) partition.

You can try using CWM, but what worries me is the warning about the rom being deleted.

Also a cool feature of link2sd is the ability to freeze apps.. I recommend freezing unwanted system apps instead of deleting them as they are required for system updates.

were you able to move any apps to your SD card, because I looked alot of places and they all say its not possible with newer Samsungs

I have my sd card partitioned (ext2), but when I go to move apps, it's telling me insufficient storage. I looked, and there's over 800mb available on my ext2. How can I get it to work? I'm getting really frustrated. Thanks!

So, essentially, creating the link is moving the app to your SD card? I don't need to worry about the "move to SD" option?

ETA: I just checked my internal memory and it hasn't budged. I'm very confused.

Yes ignore the move to sd option.. that method has been disabled by Samsung.

You have root and made a partition on your sd card?

Does it say it has been linked?

You can check to see if the app has moved by browsing to /data/sdext2

Yes, the app is telling me that the apps have been linked. I went into the mnt/extsdcard directory, and it's showing folders for different apps, but I can't tell if they are the current apps, or just leftover folders for apps I had on a different phone (if that makes sense). Part of me just wants to wipe the card (after I make a backup of mp3's, pics, etc.) and see if that makes a difference. Would that be a good idea? I know I'm being a complete noob, but it's just not making a whole lot of sense. THANKS!

If Link2SD worked properly.. it should have mounted the ext2 partition.. it maps the partition to data/sdext2 (this isn't the same as mnt/extsdcard)

Okay, so I finally got frustrated and did a factory reset. I didn't have enough memory to install a root explorer, which I needed to be able to get to data/sdext2, even when I uninstalled several apps to make room. I finally got to see data/sdext2, and, lo and behold, I saw .apk files there for all those apps that I linked. What I don't understand is if they were actually linked and moved to my SD card, why was there still so little room in my internal memory? Also, why is the "data" directory under internal memory in the file explorer? Wouldn't that mean that the apps are still in the internal memory, which negates using the link2sd in the first place?
