Apps unique to Android

As in, not available on the iPhone.

Obviously the iPhone app store has thousands of more apps than the Android marketplace, but some of the most useful apps are banned by Apple. Which apps are available to Android that aren't available to iPhone (or other platforms)?

in one word? SWYPE :)
Agreed, as well as any other keyboard (Shapewriter, Better Keyboard, etc.), and it's apps like those that make me like Android so much more because of the level of customization available.

Two other note-worthy apps (with the same purpose) would be Handcent and ChompSMS. I use Handcent, personally. Love the quick-reply box.

Home replacements. :) Ah, and emulators, of course (can be had on the iphone, but you need to jailbreak, so I imagine they aren't on the app store).

Google allows you to have apps that compete with the default apps such as browser, email, keyboard replacements such as the ones mentioned above, etc
