I'm looking for recommendations for a Calendar app and a To Do List app. I'm not all that happy with the gmail/google calendar. My past 6-7 years has been on the Palm OS & I really liked the calendar and to do list but don't have a clue how to compare what's available to me with this Samsung Android. Any suggestions?

I was a Palm user for many years, also. I'm still making do with the stock Android/Google calendar. I settled on Astrid tasks for my To Do list.

I'm using gemini calendar along with taskos. They can sync both ways with your google calendar and tasks respectively.

I use Astrid (tasks) with the Pure Calendar widget (to display tasks and schedule) which is set to open Jorte in weekly view.
