AquaMail - Email App Recommendation

You can email the developer, Kotsya Vasilyev, at:
kmansoft@gmail.com
You should hear from him soon, but it is the weekend and I don't know how much time he takes off from business on weekends. Maybe little or none - he seems like a dedicated kinda guy.

Back to your IMAP problem...did you let AquaMail try setting up this AT&T account automatically or did you do it manually? AquaMail is pretty good at automatic detection and basic setup. If you didn't try auto-setup then you might try that. If you did and it failed, did it give an error message and what did it say?

If you did a manual setup, are you certain you input IMAP settings and not POP3 by mistake?

There's only 2 reasons I can think of for the IMAP push setting being grayed out.

1. You used POP3 settings by mistake.
2. AquaMail is right, the AT&T server does not support IMAP push.

I did a bit of Googling and couldn't find AT&T IMAP settings or a definitive answer regarding push support. All I could find for att.net was POP3 settings. Do you have a link for IMAP settings or push support?

Crashdamage:
Yes, Aquamail sets it up correctly. I can send/receive with no problem. I just don't get notifications quickly. It takes 5-15 mins before I'm notified of a new email on my phone. On my laptop (right beside it) it get instant notifications.

AT&T IMAP settings are: imap.
Old thread, but I thought I'd revive it since I just started using Aqua Mail, and the last question had gone unanswered.

The answer is yes and no. You can change the display sort, but only in the Smart Folder (unified inbox), not the individual account inboxes. Odd, but it suits my needs. Here are the display options:

OOPS! wrong picture. Look at the end of this thread for the new one

I"m so sorry, I was using my phone for this thread and I didn't look close enough at my screenshot when I posted it.
Here's the pic I wanted to post:

Don't know what to say. I've never seen such behavior. Contact the developer and see what he says.
