The partition for installing apps is only 500 meg.

The partition for installing apps is only 500 meg.

Yeah the prevailing philosophy now is to install an apps to (external) sd card app from Play Store. Unfortunately, the root exploit is usually needed.

Keep an eye on this area: http://androidforums.com/97-platinu...archos-97-platinum-all-things-root-guide.html .. brand new device pretty much, but they all do end up getting rooted, which opens up possibilities for those of you wanting more app room.

So if I have no desire/plan to root the device it sounds like the cuurent 500 meg partition for installing apps should be a deal braker for me and I should look for another device
