I am thinking about switching temporarily to MetroPCS and buying an LG Optimus F3 and was wondering if the phone would be easy to unlock and bring over to Target's new BrightSpot service (yes I know, T-Mobile).
They unlock just like any other gsm phone. Not sure what your asking by easy. After 90 days of continuous service they will provide you an unlock code for free or if you want it unlocked asap you can pay to unlock it thru a place that unlocks phones.
Keep in mind though if all your planning on doing is buying the phone and unlocking it to use elsewhere don't go into a metro store to buy the phone. They won't sell you a phone without service being bought also.
