I know you dont need root to access the system files or anything else just go into settings and enable auto mount device on start up and your all good, what are some other tricks and tips that could be useful for other users. I also think if your caught in a bootloop and need to wipes certain part of your data you can do that within aroma file manager. It has a lot of useful features.
