Ascending ring tone

So I'm mostly mega happy with my Z Play it's a quality beast. However I've found the ascending ring to be a pain as it seems to affect notifications as well so I don't hear them arrive as they only ring once.

Anyone else having this issue?

Not noticed it yet myself, but there's threads on AC and the Motorola support about it.

Apparently I was something fixed in the August security update.

This is going to be my major problem with moving away from Nexus/Pixel. Delays in updates - which given the latest 2 critical security flaws should be addressed ASAP by manufacturers

Yeh I've had an S5 for the last 2 years and had Cyanogenmod installed for fast updates. I'm not too bothered, hopefully by the time the Moto Z isn't getting updates CM will support it
