Ascending Ringtone

This is a terrible feature, and causes me to miss calls, unless the phone is in my hand. Should be an option, not standard. Is the fix for this coming out soon? - I see nothing but complaints about it in all of the forums I've read since the feature was added.

As much as I ride public transportation I need something to make my ring tone special.
