Ask for the time?

Hi all,

When I'm on my scooter I can't see my watch or my phone's display to check the time. I do have the headphones that came with the phone on, so I have the mic as well. Is there anything that will allow me to shout "TIME!" and be told what the current time is? It needs to be something that will run in the background so that I can have the GPS app running at the same time, telling me how to get to my next appointment.

Out in traffic, on a scooter, with lots of windspeed noise thrown in, the app won't be able to make sense of what you shout. Besides: you would have to press a button to activate voice recognition, and have the phone's mic near your mouth, and both would be extremely dangerous in traffic. In/on whatever vehicle!

Heck, at that point, I just want a splice to my optic nerve that shows the time on a HUD the whole time...
