Astrid Widget Transparency

Is there a way to set the Astrid widget to be partially transparent/translucent? I'd like it to let some of the background show through like the default search widget and the default calendar widget.

Your best bet is to write the developer. You cannot skin widgets using 3rd party apps (BetterCut is great on icons but will not work with widgets) and hacking the actual application is not for the faint of heart.

It would also be nice if the text color on the Astrid widget matched up with the color/priority from within the program. Anyone had any luck dealing with the developer?

Also, how do you make the default search widget transparent?

@negreenfield - Pure Calendar looks promising. Thanks!

My default search widget is partially transparent, well, by default. I didn't do anything to make it that way.

For some reason Pure Calenda is not showing up in my market (though I can see the dev's other apps, both free and paid)
