Astro File Manager for Gallery

So, I have Astro File Manager and really don't know what to use it for. I went into my sub-directories of pictures and wanted to make a new sub-sub-directory, aka, an album. I made the new directory, but it won't show up in the stock Gallery app of the Inspire.

Am I doing it right? Or can albums only be added through the computer interface.

The stock gallery has index the new folder/files.
You could use the free app SDrescan for this.

Galleries like QuickPic does this automatically
