Does the backup function in Astro backup the app data (game saves/app config etc) or just the apps themselves? Do I need Titanium for the app data?

I've had a look at the FAQ on the dev website and it's not particularly clear.

It is my understanding that Astro only backs up the .apk file of apps marked public. In essence all they are doing is copying from the phone's internal memory to the sd card.

However most apps store data on the sd card so if you backup your apps that way, then just clone your sd card. That will be an incomplete backup, though. Paid apps will not backup this was.

Titanium is a better option.

I was erring towards titanium anyway. I have the free version installed, but as Astro can backup/restore en masse, I thought that would be a better option.
