Here is the timeline of the support I recieved from ASUS when my transformer went dead. Time without use of my transformer 36 days (26 business days). Expected time without transformer 7-10 days. Although I was shipped back a working (and possibly brand new) transformer with ice cream sandwich, ASUS support leaves something to be desired...
2/9/12 - E-mail submission for technical support stating that my Transformer TF-101A was not turning on. CASEID=WTM201202091022452205
2/13/12 - E-mail submission #2 for technical support stating that my Transformer TF-101A was not turning on. CASEID=RWTM201202132254262716-723
2/20/12 - Got frustrated waiting for a response for a week and called technical support. the rep was very knowledgeable and issued an RMA
2/21/12 - Mailed Transformer out at around noon. Estimated delivery date 2/23
2/21/12 22:30 - E-mail response to original case from a different person other than who issued the RMA the previous day. I responded that I was taken care of
3/6/12 - Haven't heard a peep from Asus. Checked RMA status: Had not recieved product yet. WHAT?! USPS tracking number is lost (my fault). Called Asus, they said exactly what the online RMA status online said. They wanted the USPS tracking number.... Called USPS. Opened a lost package case number: USPS case number: CA108004610
3/10/12 - Got an e-mail from ASUS saying my transformer was fixed and has shipped. Estimated arrival date 3/14/12
3/12/12 Got a call from USPS to help me resolve lost package. Told them it was resolved
3/14/12 - packaged was shipped requiring a signiture. Door slip recieved. Called FEdex and had them ship it to a Kinkos
3/15/12 - Picked up the package. Ice Cream Sandwich installed, the dent on the side was fixed (I think they may have given me me a new even though the serial number sticker was the same). Everything was fixed, pictures, configuration everything was exactly as I had left it
