Help Asus Transformer Prime browsing and youtube issues

Got my asus transformer prime about a month ago. Since then, it's been having some weird problems. The browser keeps temporarily freezing, or crashing. It's slow to switch between tabs, videos freeze or stop working, and it keeps giving me "browser is not responding" error, but then it corrects itself soon after. Twice in the past 10 days the browser has frozen, and then the table crashed entirely and restarted itself, for no apparent reason (4-5 tabs open, and only a few apps running).

Also when playing videos, on youtube for example, the music won't play in the background if I switch to a different app, or a different tab in the browser. What's the deal with that?? I don't want to be staring at youtube while music is playing - i'd prefer to play it in the background while I do other things. Is this just a flaw in the youtube app for android, or in the OS itself?

Does anyone else have these kinds of issues with web browsing and general system freezing? I dont know if I should return the tablet, or call asus support or something...

I've had similar issues with browsing, though it usually works itself out in a couple seconds.

As for YouTube, I believe that's the same with every device unless there is an app that let's you run it in the background. I have yet to run into a device that allows YouTube to play in the background (other than a computer). From what I understand, when you leave an app (including the web browser) its resources are frozen in order to free up some memory.
