At long last, a GREAT way to browse the Market: AppBrain

I'm not understanding this. As I look at the page right now, I'm seeing "Kindergarten Number Lite" as having 0 (zero) stars, "Adult Movies" as having 0 stars, and "Lady In Red Makeup" as having 0 stars.

I'm also seeing My MSN Messenger at 3 stars, and Real-Time Mobile Video Chat at 3 stars. Reception Mapper Beta has 2.5, as do many others.

Thanks for that link! If nothing else, the website is a lot easier on the eyes for reading reviews, etc. The recommendations thing is kind of neat.

I installed the app on my Hero and created an account. The install on the Hero went OK. But had to to a force close and reboot - phone acted weird. Hopefully, that's a one-off thing and won't happen again.

I like the idea of being able to update all the installed apps with just one click, so hopefully it will be smooth from here on out.

Androlib.com has been around for a while too... real easy to use. Even from your phone browser

I've been running AppBrain for a few days now and I do like the integration, one-button update for updating apps, and the website layout.

But since installing the app on the phone, my Hero seems slower to respond - even if I've killed AppBrain: swipe to unlock just sits there for several seconds before unlocking, swiping to a different screen is laggy, there's now a noticeable delay in tapping and icon and the app loading.

Turning the phone off/on doesn't seem to help. So, right now, I'm on the fence about whether to keep AppBrain on the Hero. Will definitely provide feedback to the devs.

I agree with Hoos. I'm surprised no one has created an app for updating all installed apps. Its a pain in the ass updated a dozen or so one by one
