Root [AT&T] A couple of replacement battery questions..

BSBHVR2

Newbie
First, here is the battery I'm considering replacing my factory battery with-
1
3250mAh Battery for Samsung Galaxy S3 i9300 T Mobile Samsung Galaxy S3 T999 | eBay

Question 1- Will a 3250 mAH battery harm my phone?

Question 2- I notice it says it's for a 'T-mobile Samsung Galaxy T999'. I have an AT&T phone, are there different batteries for different carriers?

Question 3- Any suggestions for a different, better replacement battery?

Thank you.

The ad does not say it comes with a back cover. In the listing it state Battery only. If it is the same size of the stock battery it is NOT 3250 mAH. A lot of counterfeit batteries out there. Also do not see any mention of the NFC antenna, if NFC is important to you. Now if you scroll down to the bottom of the page it states it will work in the AT&T phone, I think they are all interchangeable.

I have never replaced a battery in a phone, so I was not aware a 3250 would actually be larger. Thank You! And what is NFC and what does it do?

as for your questions:
1- a bigger battery will NOT harm your phone. however, you may have a wonky battery meter during the first few charges. when i got my 4400 mAh battery, it didn't know how to display the correct remaining charge.

2- most Galaxy S3 batteries are interchangeable among any between each other (unless otherwise stated or reviewed)

3- as i mentioned, i have a 4400 mAh battery, it is made by Onite. i purchased it off Amazon. and another one i would recommend is Hyperion, also available from Amazon.

and if you would like more responses to your questions, if it doesn't have to do with 'root', don't post in the 'All Things Root' section.
