What the What. I can't believe this happened but an 8% stake in ATT will look good to any company. I actually don't mind Tmobile. there are two blind spots in my whole town. Not a fan of capped data plans. I'm not on a contract right now. I think I should get one so when the time comes that the F the loyal non-contract customers i wont have to worry.

Honestly I keep hearing how much cheaper tmobile is and right now its maybe 5-10 a month cheaper how is that a big deal ? I'm sure the majority of people blow that money on.stupidity.

I've been thinking this was going to happen for a while. Not sure yet if its a bad thing or good, but as long as it doesn't affect my coverage ing ATT, then I don't care.

I get unlimited voice (all PSTN calls) and data for $59/mo on T-Mo (no discounting of any kind, EMP straight plan rates)...that costs a lot less than it would on my AT&T account.

I could do unlimited voice/data/text for 2-member family plan on T-Mo for less than what I am paying for the shared 700 minutes/data (no texting) for my AT&T 2-member family plan.

Then throw in the $10/mo additional for the international calling plan which only use your plan minutes, vs. just some "discounted rates" (my girl calls home to Europe literally everyday). So for unlimited minutes plans, its only $10 to get unlimited calling overseas. I'm considering getting rid of Vonage, as the free international calls were its main advantage, saving me an additional $30+/mo.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who enjoys thelow EMP plan rates...will be a shame if they're removed under AT&T management. I'll be locking in the cheapest unlimited plan if the buyout is approved.

Well I'm paying $147 for four lines with two unlimited texts and data. I'm grandfathered in and then some!

I checked Verizon and AT&T and I'm looking at 179.95 and 179.97, respectively, and that's without tax.

Not to mention that eventually my phone will be rendered useless...lol.
