I know att attempts to prevent unsigned app installation on their droids -but how much are the censoring the marketplace for general commercial applications?
Fandango - the well known movie ticket website/service has an android app that is avail on verizon and t-mobile but it doesn't show when searching from an ATT N1. It also won't install from the bar code on the fandango site.
There are a number of other applications that are not appearing. How much of the marketplace does the carrier control and will this lead to completely different android experiences depending on carrier?
