AT&T blocking access to certain market applications?

I am an avid Palringo user. I recently purchased a Motorola Flipside just so I could have a better Palringo experience. Once past all the Motobullshit, I went to download Palringo from the market. I searched three times and it wasn't there. After someone contacted Palringo support via the Palringo chat room I was told to go to palringo.mobi. It should have been a direct link to the application. Instead i got a message stating: "There are no matches in the Android Market for the search: pname:com.paxmodept.palringo.android.main"

I just talked to a chick who is with Verizon and she found the app in the market with no problem. What i want to know is there anyone else that has had a problem with missing market apps? Btw, I tried to use the java version of Palringo, but in order to run it I needed the J2ME app runner. I searched and searched, but couldn't find it in the market either. Is it still in the market or is AT&T just blocking access to it?

Thanks in advance for any help,

It's in the market. I am able to see it with my Nexus 1 and Captivate, both unrooted and on AT&T.

If you root your phone (there are risks... but if you follow directions, its simple) you can install an app called MarketAccess, which will allow you to access the Markets for other carriers (T-Mobile, for instance).

Just make sure you back up your code for AT&T in case you ever have to switch back.
