Root [AT&T] Data Connectivity Issues

I have successfully flashed both CM10 and LiquidSmooth v2.4 but I am having data connectivity issues. I was running CM10 earlier today and couldn't connect to my data service. I thought perhaps it was just a CM10 issue, as I did a few searches and saw that it was a common problem. So I tried flashing the LiquidSmooth v2.4, but am having the same problem. (No MMS, sync, web/app access) Is there a fix for this issues that I can't seem to find?? I've been searching xda, but I am still getting familiar with the website structure and everything takes so long to find!

did you lose service after you had it on the custom ROM?

or did you lose service right when you flash a custom ROM?

the reason i ask is because there's the off chance your IMEI might have been zero'd out when flashing a ROM. it's happened to me twice now, i had to restore it to get my data back.
 
I never had the service after the flash with both CM10 and the LiquidSmooth. But, when I used my nandroid backup and restored back to the rooted stock rom, everything was fine?

I've tried power cycles, toggling the airplane mode, and turning data on and off; but don't ever get data service. Wi-fi works, however - as does SMS and calling.
 
it sounds like you lost your IMEI then. same exact thing with me. go to your Settings > About, then look for your IMEI. if it says '0' you would either have to restore back to your nandroid when you had it, then re-flash it. and hope you don't lose it again.

or try to manually apply your IMEI. don't know how to do this one. but there are tutorials all over the XDA Developers Forum.
