AT&T Employees former or current - Please Read

I just applied for a full time sales position at At&t.com. I would really like to land this job.

Is there anything you guys did to get noticed or was it just random picking for you to go in for a interview.

Any tips or pointers on how to get hired would be greatly appreciated.

I do not work for AT&T and have never worked for them. But I can tell you that more and more companies are asking for your facebook/twitter info and the userid for any forums you post on. While they are unlikely to read through all of your posts, the userid will get noticed and may adversely impact whether you get hired or not.

You are welcome to not provide that info but they are equally welcome to not consider your application.

You can lie about it and will be able to get away with it till the guy you are competing for the promotion rats you out and then you are fired for cause for lying on the application.
