Just found this in the press:


Today at the AT&T Developer Summit held in conjunction with the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, AT&T announced new network, device and applications initiatives for 2011 as part of its plans to offer the nation's most advanced mobile broadband network experience. Highlights include:
  • 4G HSPA+ deployed to virtually 100% of nation's fastest mobile broadband network
  • LTE network to be largely complete by YE 2013
  • Expect 20 4G devices in 2011
And perhaps most important to this crowd....
  • New commitment to offer industry-leading Android lineup

Withe the Motorola atrix HTC and Samsung 4G phones they announced today as well I say they are well on there way
