Root [AT&T] Kinda confused here

Hello all i followed some guides someone told me about rooting my phone threw mac.. I downloaded the Galaxys3rootuscanadamac file followed there youtube video and seems to work threw terminal. then at the end it said this
All Done rooting Galaxy S3, install SuperUser or SuperSU app from Play Store to get full root!
So i downloaded the superuser from the playstore and now im confused not sure where to go from here.
Even downloaded titanium backup i open that up and it gives me an error saying.
Sorry, i could not aquire root privileges. this application will not work. please verify that your rom is rooted and try again.. dunno where to come from here thank you for ya help

If you have SuperSU installed, it needs to grant Titanium backup root access. When you open Titanium backup, it should've ask you to grant root access.

Did the titanium backup and it says phone is not rooted
I'm never gonna git this phone rooted.
