AT&T MicroCell

Anyone have any experience with the AT&T MicroCell? We have weak 3G in our office and the boss's iPhone continually drops calls (chuckle) but my Nexus One will also occasionally lose a call. I picked one of these up and while the calls are clearer, I dropped three calls today using it.

I read that it can still drop calls frequently when your phone tries to switch from the MicroCell to an AT&T tower. Kinda ridiculous that it even attempts to do so when the signal from the MicroCell should be significantly better.
