Root [AT&T] Question about 'CustomSMSTones' app:

I have that app installed and it used to work...used to work. I use it to allow me to have different SMS tones for different people, it no longer does that for some of my contacts. Works with some, but not others. Odd. Anyway, I first noticed it (I think) stopped working when I updated to jellybean a few months back. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get it to start working properly again or perhaps a similar app? I have a Galaxy S3 that is NOT rooted and my carrier is AT&T. Any help is greatly appreciated!
