Just curious as to how many people have received a software update from AT&T. I got my phone very early July, and I thought there was a software update making its way around. Every time I do a "check for updates" on the Phone Info area in Settings, it says the Server is unavailable and the phone will check back in next 48 hours.

I'm just wondering if others have actually gotten the update, if something is wrong with the DM server address my phone is trying to reach, or if there really isn't an update at all. I am talking about the update that was supposed to take away the universal search, etc. Not talking about a Jelly Bean update or anything.

FYI my Build number is ***.i747UCALEM

Samsung is most likely going to announce the release date at the IFA 2012 event which starts in just over two hours.

There are several liveblogs around the internet for it. There might be live video feeds too.

They're expected to announce the Galaxy Note 2 at the same event.

he is talking about a normal firmware/samsung update for bugs, not necessarily jellybean update.

I'm on sprint so i couldn't say for your provider, though as soon as i turned my phone on, i had to update many, many times :-\
