Atheros Client Installation Program

Can anybody tell me what this program is for? I've searched Google, it just refers me to download locations. I'm trying to clean up my hard disk and wouldn't like to uninstall this program if it's safe and necessary.

It is the driver installer for your wireless/bluetooth device in the computer. I would just leave it alone.
