Atrix music downloads???

Lurker
I've got a new Motorola Atrix, I'm trying to download music from my ipod and having no luck. How do I download my ipod music to my Atrix? I find the Motorla Sync program less than intuitive to use...I've tried converting my ipod music in the .m4p extension to a different format or into windows media player with no luck. Can't sync it no way no how.

Finding myself frustrated trying to get music downloads to the Atrix. Love the phone, with the exception of the insyncability to music files. Help....

Also, is there a way to push live video from my Atrix through the hdmi port?

First off, are you trying to connect your ipod directly to the phone? That wont work obviously. You need to connect the phone to a computer via usb, then put the phone into Disk Drive mode. When the sd card pops up on the computer, create a folder called Music on the card, and drag and drop your music into that folder. Keep in mind however, if your music was purchased through itunes, it likely could have DRM in it, and if thats the case, you wont be able to play it with an android phone.

The hdmi port is an output only, no input to the phone.

Thanks for the tip on the music.

On the video question, to be more clear, is there a way to run live video on my phone and through the hdmi port display the video on a tv? Thanks.

I'm not 100% sure about that phone in particular, but most phones with hdmi output will only output pictures, and videos played in the stock video player out to hdmi. Some phones can be rooted, and with a custom kernal you can output everything to hdmi.
