Help Attach file to a forum posting

anwul62

Newbie
Usually 'attach file'-issues involve email, such as Gmail.
However, the other day I wanted to post a reply on a forum thread and wanted to a attach a screenshot I made of a tablet screen.

I clicked on the [Upload a File] button, a pop-up was shown, but then within this pop-up, the [Browse] button did not respond. I clicked many times on it, but nothing happened.

Using normal desktop-pc, clicking on the [Upload a File] button will open a new explorer file open dialog, displaying folders/folder-tree of my pc.
Would expect something similar when posting from my tablet.

Is this a security matter/some settings?

Thanks

Okay, many thanks! Am still really a newbie. Haven't installed any app sofar, except Roboform. Am not sure whether I will continue using Roboform as they autofill only from their own (native) browser, not as an add-on to Chrome. They have an add-on to Firefox for Android, but Firefox is soo slow compared to Chrome. Maybe I should use LastPass which seems... to support autofill as an add-on to Chrome (again)?
Regretfully there is no way of trying it, without having a premium/paid account.

Anyway, sorry.... totally off-topic, I agree...;)

That said, will checkout your suggestion, thanks.

Thank you! I believe though that the passwords within LastPass are still quite safe though.
Then again, as for me, unless there is no other way..., I would not use my tablet for any financial transactions (purchases/transferring money). For forums, emails, okay, but for any financial matters I would then use my 'normal pc' using Roboform: they do not store the master password anywhere.
But also it is a bit more convenient: in case of purchases I make screenshots of every step, so I know when I bought something and have proof when something goes wrong. Screenshots can also be made on a tablet, but I then have to transfer them to my pc.

I take the pictures I want to post in my threads or rplies and put them on PhotoBucket. Once they're in my library there I choose the share Links IMG option then copy and paste that link here.

Signing up is free and they give you a ridiculous amount of space IMHO for your images. I haven't tried videos yet though.
