Hello,
I've hooked up my Android phone (running Android version 5.0) to my laptop's USB port. Although it charges properly, I'm not able to see the phone from the computer and hence can't upload or download files which is what I want to do. When I try doing this with a different Android phone but the same laptop it works, suggesting the issue is with the phone, not the laptop.
I believe that at one time this worked with this phone--perhaps I've inadvertently changed some important security setting--but I've looked in Settings and haven't found anything obvious to change to get this to work. Any ideas?
