attaching audio sounds to mms

i have the droid from verizon i do have an SD card, just cant find the audio that is saved on it to attach to a MMS message

When composing the message, click Menu -> Attach -> Create -> Record Audio. That's how it is on my Droid Eris. I'm assuming you have the Motorola.

yea that is what i have .. but i don't want to record audio i want to send audio that is saved on my phone already, like send a ringtone

I have the opposite problem. When I receive a MMS my Incredible seperates the sound from the picture. Is there a way to put them together for viewing?

I believe Android doesn't show ringtones when you are attaching a file. You will have to go into the phone, find the ringtone, and save it to your SD card. I don't know how to do this.

There was an article at Android Central where they created a download link with a bunch of ringtones, and I think the stock ones are in there, too

Here is the link

It's towards the bottom, under Filling that /media folder
