attachments from emails

So what I'm trying to do is get my favorite ringtones onto my new cliq.
I tried to pair my BB to my droid cliq and I couldn't get them connected so my next idea was to email the files I want on the new phone to myself. So it worked, but how do I save the attachment to the phone? Has anyone emailed a .mp3 and saved it to their android phone?

try long pressing the file and a pop-up should come up to save

Have you tried clicking and dragging the file to your Cliq? To get some of my audio files from my laptop onto my Cliq, I downloaded the Motorola Driver (the link is somewhere on this website) and then connected my Cliq. I was then able to use the Cliq as an USB storage drive.
