Audio enhancements (Dolby Mobile/SRS) with 3rd party video apps?

Hey all

I'm a big movie buff, and I love that I have the ability to watch them on the go. I have the HTC Inspire 4g (Desire HD), which has Dolby Mobile and SRS audio enhancers. The stock video player supports these, and my movies sound crisp and clear when I use it. Problem is, that I can only use this method if I convert my video files (usually avi), to a format that my phone supports. This is a time consuming and inconvenient process, and it's plain impossible to do if I have time constraints.

Luckily, there are third party video players that allow me to play my .avi files as they are. Only problem is, that to my knowledge, there isn't one that supports Dolby and SRS.

So is there a way to enable audio enhancers across all android apps? Or is there another video player that supports it?

Thanks for your time, I really appreciate your responses :)
