Audio Problems (Headphones)

I just bought the Optimus V for virgin mobile today and have been playing with it all day. I just now realized that when I plug in the headphones that came with it (any headphones really), sound still comes out from the phone speaker.

Anyone with any insight? I would really appreciate it

Make sure they are plugged in all the way.

Yeah, try to push it in all the way. Likely there is a bit of the resistance from the tip fitting snuggly with the wire that makes contact with it. Google TRRS connector to see what the insde of the headphone jack look like
