I only see a couple posts on this issue in the forums here that don't go into much detail.
I'm looking at buying a Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830L online, but have read where Samsung will not honor a warranty unless the phone is purchased from an 'Authorized Samsung Dealer.'
Prices are pretty good here in the US from Amazon.com. And I have confirmed that Samsung does recognize Amazon as an authorized dealer. Still, several Amazon resellers are offering the phone for $20 less than Amazon.
I'm guessing that none of the resellers are officially authorized, and for the extra $20, it might be smart to go with Amazon to be assured I'd have a valid warranty.
Does anyone have any recent experience with this issue?
Thanks
