Auto brightness - how's yours?

Does anyone else have a problem with the Note9 auto brightness being whack? It may be 3 o'clock in the afternoon and I can barely see the screen because it's so dim... but at 4 o'clock in the morning it blinds me!

If I pull down quick settings, turn auto brightness off and back on again, the brightness level changes to something it should have been to begin with! Did it forget that it was on?

Try setting the brightness manually then put auto brightness on it should go by what you manually set, if this persists this could be a software issue or a hardware if the sensor ms are defective 5/10 it could be a bug in the OS and samsumg may have to patch it but hopefully someone can assist with this issue

My auto brightness sucks but it does help in savings battery usage when it's surrounding light fluctuates. I rarely use it because it gets too dark at the wrong time, So I just set it as I go. It's bad enough these things are turning people into mindless host of their devices so I don't see it being a big deal doing some work at some point physically operating some functions.

No issues with auto brightness and ive 3 note 9s .

I use AOD and it reacts as expected. My wallpaper is black so perhaps i dont notice any issues.... *shrugs*
