Auto correct/predictive text

Greetings!
I reset my phone and it seems to be working a bit faster than before. However one annoying difference now is that the auto correct/predictive text function makes it difficult to enter things like acronyms into Google. I don't know if it's possible to turn the function off for Google, but keep it for other stuff like texting. Or just switch the function on and off as needed.

It is normally a function of the keyboard app that you are using. You can turn the predictive text and spell check on and off in the keyboard's settings.
