Auto erase junk mail

Hi,

I'm tired of receiving junk and spam mail and having to delete it manually though I mark it as spam. How can I make Google's Mail app ti do it automatically? Can I create a list of unwanted addresses or words?

If you have access to a computer/laptop, logging into your account via its webmail interface:
https://mail.google.com
click on the wrench icon in the upper right, click on 'Settings', and then click on the 'Filters and Blocked Addresses' tab. From there you can set up filters for keywords you specify and add email addresses to block.
This will then be applied to your overall Gmail account, so it also applies when using your Gmail app. I don't know if there's similar access to your Gmail Settings via the Gmail app nor a web browser app.

One thing to keep in mind is spam filtering is never going to be 100%, false positives do happen occasionally so for most people, occasionally checking your spam folder might result in finding messages you might actually want to read.
